Kenn Munk is a one-man design firm. His work ranges from graphic design over type design to product and toy design - sometimes it even strays into teaching.
His designs are off-beat and tends to appeal to something that's definitely not the mainstream. This goes both for his fonts but certainly also for his self-published series of hunting trophy paper kits called Antlor and his "Sniptape" - an adhesive tape printed with a dashed line and scissors.
Kenn Munk is on a mission to alter existing concepts or elements of life that we take for granted; his fonts have influence on how people write and he's even designed a font for writing silence and the space between words, to attach some other quality than nothingness.
This font is free as people generally don't like like being charged for nothingness. After graduating from design school in 1998, Kenn started work at an advertising agency, whilst still doing his own stuff at night. In 2005 His company was officially registrered under the name "Kenn Munk" - there is no distinction between the company and the person and in early 2007, he left the day job to be Kenn Munk full time.
Kenn is currently working with clients close to his heart and is smiling at least once a day.
