Our Coffee at LYNfabrikken
Our Coffee selection at LYNfabrikken. We serve dark-roasted coffee for its bold, rich flavor, inspired by the Italian coffee tradition where conversation flows effortlessly in cozy cafes and lively bars. For us, coffee isn’t just a drink—it’s a way to bring people together. It’s about creating a space where connections happen, where good coffee sets the tone for great conversations. Whether it’s a quick espresso at the counter or a slow cappuccino, coffee should feel effortless, social, unpretentious and add good vibes.
You can choose between two distinct espresso beans.
The first, Neunbar, is crafted by our friends at Elbgold roastery in Hamburg’s Schanzenviertel. Made through direct trade with farmers in Guatemala, El Salvador and Ethiopia, Neunbar has rich notes of cocoa, walnut, and marzipan, with a smooth chocolatey finish and low acidity. We tasted it for the first time in Hamburg and immediately fell in love with both the coffee but also the couple behind Elbgold, with whom we share beliefs and orientation. If you are ever in Hamburg, make sure to visit one of their coffee shops. We can highly recommend it.
For those wanting a taste of Italian coffee tradition, we also offer Stelvio espresso from Kuntrawant in South Tyrol. We found this coffee roastery when travelling through the Meran area in Italy in our van, climbing the Stelvio mounting. The story behind hit us immediately: 70 years ago, Fausto Coppi, the first Giro d’Italia champion and a man of leisure, conquered the legendary 48 switchbacks of the Stelvio Pass, powered by strong espresso. Stelvio honors Coppi’s legacy, delivering an enduring and robust espresso with dark chocolate, cedarwood, and warm brown spice notes. This 48% Robusta blend is the fuel for conquering the Stelvio mountain or just a long day of work. It’s an unpretentious approach to a coffee culture and a way of living the good life.
More in the mood for filter?
Our filter is called SECHS A - and it is our classic espresso blend from Elbgold in Hamburg, specially ground for our Bonomat machine, making it perfect for filter brewing. Made with direct trade beans from Guatemala, El Salvador, and Ethiopia, SECHS A offers rich flavors of chocolate, peach, and hazelnut. The blend, formerly known as CLASSICO, pays homage to Elbgold’s first roastery at Mühlenkamp 6a, where their journey began in 2004.
